Web3 is just the latest in a line of useless speculative stuff to sell to the public, like altcoins, ICOs, IEOs, NFTs and DeFi before it. They have gotten away with it because they have the moniker of decentralization, giving them the argument that there’s no one really in control and thus, it shouldn’t be put under scrutiny. What Jack is saying is that they should be put under much more scrutiny because the VCs are the ones who control most of these tokens.
