Last week, we released the first mainnet alpha of Taproot Assets, a scalable protocol for developers to issue assets on the bitcoin blockchain and send them over the Lightning Network for instant, high volume, low fee transactions. This initial mainnet release supports on-chain functionality, with Lightning support coming 🔜.
